Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how OLD BARN LIMITED (香港陳倉科技有限公司), a company registered in Hong Kong SAR ("we", "us"), collects, uses and shares information in connection with our websites and the mobile applications we publish (together, the "Services").

By using the Services you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

  • Contact details you send us, such as your email address and the content of your message.
  • Information you provide when requesting support or exercising a privacy right.

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you use our applications, certain information is collected automatically by us and by the third-party services integrated into them. This may include:

  • Device information: model, operating system and version, language and region settings.
  • Identifiers: advertising identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS or the Android Advertising ID), app instance identifiers, and IP address.
  • Usage information: app opens, sessions, feature interactions, and in-app events.
  • Advertising information: ad requests, impressions, clicks and related performance data.
  • Diagnostic information: crash logs and performance data.

1.3 Information we do not intentionally collect

Our applications are not designed to collect precise location data, contacts, photographs, or the content of your communications, unless a specific feature requests your permission and you grant it.

2. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain and improve the Services.
  • To display advertising, including personalised advertising where you have consented.
  • To measure advertising performance and understand how the Services are used.
  • To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, security and technical issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
  • To respond to your enquiries and support requests.

3. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar legislation applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Consent — for personalised advertising and tracking across apps and websites, where required. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — for operating and securing the Services, preventing fraud, and measuring performance, balanced against your rights.
  • Contract — where processing is necessary to provide a service you have requested.
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to process or retain information by law.

4. Advertising and third-party SDKs

Our applications include software development kits (SDKs) provided by third parties, including advertising networks, mediation platforms, attribution providers and analytics providers. These providers may collect information directly from your device as described in their own privacy policies.

Where required by law, we present a consent request before any non-essential advertising or tracking takes place. On iOS, we request permission through App Tracking Transparency before accessing the advertising identifier for tracking purposes. Where you decline, we request non-personalised advertising only, where supported by our advertising partners.

The categories of third parties we work with include advertising networks, ad mediation and monetization platforms, attribution and measurement providers, and cloud hosting and infrastructure providers.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We may share information with:

  • Service providers and partners who process information on our behalf or in connection with advertising, under contractual obligations.
  • Professional advisers, where necessary.
  • Authorities, where required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or transfer of assets.

We do not sell personal information in the conventional sense. Where "sale" or "sharing" is defined broadly under applicable law (for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act), certain advertising-related disclosures may fall within that definition. You may opt out as described in section 8.

6. International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, and as required to comply with legal, accounting and reporting obligations. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained for longer.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your information, to withdraw consent, to request portability, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@old-barn.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children

Our Services are not directed at children under the age required for valid consent in your jurisdiction. Where our applications are directed at a general audience, we configure our advertising partners for appropriate content ratings. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Security

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
